Stauffer Guitars was officially started in the spring of 2007 by Joe Stauffer. Pulling from his wide range of experiences in mechanical engineering, woodworking, CAD design, manufacturing processes, and custom cabinetry, he designed and built Stauffer Guitar’s first standard model the ‘Fury’. Having grown incredibly tired of mainstream run of the mill guitars, he started from scratch to create this tastfully unique model…while maintaining a level of comfort and familiarity to classic design. The most innovative feature of the Fury’s design is Stauffer Guitar’s exclusive “no tools, interchangeable, pickguard system”.
